On Saturday I was at the BrisStyle market in Hamilton. It was a lot of fun – although not as busy as I had hoped.

My neighbour was Anna from AnnaCraft, who sells beautiful needlework items and is also from Holland. We got on very well together!

This was my last market for the year. It is also the last week of school before the summer holidays begin here in Australia. And only two weeks until our beach holiday starts… Bring it on!

Take care,
Linda

BrisStyle Indie Eco Market

Today I visited the BrisStyle Indie Eco Market in Hamilton – I will be selling at the Designers Market in December here, so it was good to see how it is set up. There are a number of stalls inside and some marquees outside, under the Poinciana trees (I will be inside in December).

Reverse Garbage was at the market! – of course I couldn’t resist buying some stuff: a coffee sack, a few zips, fabric and a bag ful of corks.

Green Me Up Granny was selling these lovely bars of soap:

I had to buy this Juicy Tutti Fruitti Soap (really, it was begging me):

The coffee sack I bought – love the two-colour print:

I also bought a pile of doilies from Myclectic. This gorgeous doily was only 50 cents!

I had a lovely time and am looking forward to being a seller here on the 8th of December!

Take care,
Linda

BrisStyle Indie Twilight Market

Yesterday I visited the BrisStyle Indie Market at St George Square in the Brisbane CBD together with my friend Yasmin. The square looks lovely at night, with the church dwarfed by the tall office blocks:

We really enjoyed the market. I was thrilled to discover Bec from Spun Mud there – I bought a pair of her earrings years ago at the Eumundi Markets and lost one of them. They were my favourite earrings so I was very happy to be able to buy a new pair. I love ceramic jewellery!

I have very recently joined BrisStyle Inc. and hope to be at their Indie Designers Market in Hamilton on 8th December as a seller!

Take care,

Linda
