A while ago I thought that it would be fun to be able to print a map of the world onto fabric. I drew one and had it made into a thermofax screen, which arrived last week, together with my new calligram designs. I made a red-on-white test print that looked great (or so I thought), so I stretched it in a hoop.

Then I did another screenprinting session and had fun experimenting with different colours ink…

Here’s one of the resulting prints – I made it into a large fabric card:

How about printing on t-shirts?

I’ve got the whole world on my shirt!

I love this print! (and so did my youngest son – he wants it printed on a green shirt)
